I grew up as the creative art kid in school.

That was the start of a journey that lead me to where I am today.

Where ever there was a creative project, I had my hands full and my floor messy. I've always had a keen interest in learning new creative skills.

Over the years I had many artworks displayed in local exhibitions and the newspaper. I was one of two selected to join a gifted art student program. Then I completed a certificate with the Australian Music Examinations Board in singing and performed a few shows in a band.

I began studying Multimedia with a keen interest in 3D modelling, film and photography, animation and graphic design which lead me to work in Photo Retouching along side a portrait photographer for a number of years.

I briefly freelanced as I continued my hobbies on the side. I took up a love for alternative fashion and learnt how to sew and customise my own clothing, I started learning digital illustration which then took me into a career in Graphic Design and Marketing Coordination.

Around the time the pandemic hit I had some lifestyle changes causing me to take up further study with Multi-Discipline Design at Enmore Design Centre. I learnt stop motion animation, resin casting, set design scale models, making a latex mask, Adobe Creative Suite and green screen film making.

I rekindled my love for sketching and painting which lead to having my work titled over[t]hink displayed in Bitter Industries gallery.

I took up a night class at the National Art School on Oil Painting to explore further mediums and I studied Ableton Fundamentals to learn how to write digital music. I then decided to apply to D&AD Shift Design and Advertising school.

Designer/Artist

Through D&AD Shift the teams I was a part of won 2 of 3 briefs and I was chosen to give a short talk to marketing and advertising professionals at the showcase event.

I'm continually refining my artistic skills and creative thinking while looking for the next big opportunity.

I'm excited to see where this journey takes me.

So will you join me?
